How it works

It's simple. Slap 'em and strap 'em.

  1. The handle plate held on the tank by its magnets 1

    Apply the handles

Set them between knee and hip height. That forces you to lift with your legs. Built-in magnets hold each plate while you set up, no tools.

  2. Wrapping the strap around the tank 2

    Strap them securely

Wrap the strap around the tank and ratchet it tight. Now the handles aren't going anywhere.

  3. Bending at the knees with a straight back, hands on the handles 3

    Bend your knees

Squat down with a straight back and take a full grip on both handles.

  4. Lifting and carrying the tilted water heater 4

    Lift with your legs

Stand up like a dead-lift and walk it out, through doorways, halls, around corners and up or down stairs.

Going up or down stairs? Use two sets of handles. With a second set, a second person can take the lower end, which makes stairs much easier.
Small tank? For water heaters 18″ in diameter and smaller, bend the handle wings inward for a proper fit.

Why it works

Built for the way plumbers actually move tanks.

Save your back

A straight-back squat and dead-lift instead of a bear hug. The lift every safety trainer tells you to use, finally possible on a tank.

Go anywhere

Carry it through doorways, down halls, around corners and up and down stairs (use two sets on stairs), places a hand cart can't follow.

Ditch the hand cart

“I don't use a hand cart any more.” One less thing to load, unload and wrestle up the stairs.

Scales to the big ones

Use two sets for a two-person lift on 75-gallon gas or 120-gallon electric heaters.

On in seconds

Magnets hold the plates in place while you strap, so one person can rig a tank alone.

Made in the U.S.A.

American-made, not imported. Built in small batches from brushed aluminium and stainless hardware to take a beating on the job.

So easy, anyone on the crew can lift.

The handles do the gripping, so the lift comes down to legs and teamwork, not brute strength.

Your back will thank you.
